About the Quilt

The Valley Quilt was started in October 2005 by the Marketing & Community Relations Department at Valley Medical Center. How could we honor the brave patients and dedicated staff of our Breast Center not just annually--but every day of the year? We decided the answer lay in embracing the themes closest to women: connection, families, legacies. Valleyquilt.com joins the power of our stories with the enduring beauty of quiltmaking, an art form which only gains as it grows from century to century.
